I've had my Prius C for about 3 months, 3600 miles. I went to start it the other day and it wouldn't go into "Ready" mode. The display said "Power On" and some of the indicator lights flashed, but then nothing. Then, I had a hard time powering it off. Upon jumping it appeared to work normally. I took it into the dealer service, they looked at it and said nothing is wrong. Two days later, it was giving me issues again. Two or three presses of the Power button to start, the display lights were dim until I'd been driving around a bit (it was nighttime), and the horn did not sound when I locked and unlocked it. I'm afraid this is going to keep happening. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
Sounds like 12v battery issues. Take the car to advanced or auto zone and have them test your battery.
Most of the auto part stores will check the battery for free. Then tell your dealer what they found. John
