My Prius does not look like every other one now!!!

I like the idea, of going in your own direction...keep it up !!

 

Love the two tone! I'd get the rear spoiler and the black part of the front bumper painted in the top half burnt tangerine color.

...lose the Type-R emblem. That relates only to Honda and Acura owners. Just saying.

 

That paint is tight! I thought the type-R badges where fine. Conversation starters if nothing else. But.... I think your new look begs more for de-badging rather than adding more.

When I had my RSX Type S and was an active member on Club RSX forums, folks use to go ape shit on members that stick a Type-R badge on a USDM Integra DC2/4, 5 -- no matter how many JDM Type R parts they installed on their ride (kinda like how some people go belly up here on PC when you type Prius IV instead of Prius Four, or Prius V instead of Prius v, etc.). Putting a Type-R badge on a Prius... well, I actually have no words. But why stop there? Why not put a "HEMI" badge atop of the "Hybrid" emblem on the side fenders? Heck, just go for the whole enchilada and stick an "AMG", an "M3", an "STi" followed by an "F-Sport" and "S-Line" badge while the heat is hot. Hey, your Prius, your mods

EDIT: Just realized the orange resembles Blaze Orange Metallic, same color of my retired RSX:

 

I agree with some of the others - not my cup of tea. I don't have anything against the OP's choices, but I just don't like the look.

 

unrelated question... how much do you hate that crab grass? I remember having it as a kid in Florida.. HATED IT!@#%^

 

I am curious to know what affect this paint job has on the value of the car. This is not to suggest that it would be less, but some might be reluctant due to the vivid color? I understand some have said that they like the color, but would you buy this paint job?
