Connecting a Droid 4 with 2013 Prius v (lowercase v) bluetooth but words ar garbled. Reverted back to my Jabra Freèway bluetooth speaker phone which is much clearer. Our company just purchased 6 Prius V and we're all having the same bluetooth garbled communication. Can anyone tell me how to tweek Prius bluetooth to get better audio output? Ken
Works fine with an IPhone, IPAD and Motorola flip phone. No adjustments needed. Perhaps there are some options in the Droid.

Mine is so clear some don't realize I am on a speakerphone in a car. I would recommend keeping the windows closed and the fan on medium. The mic is on the maplight. I would try someone's iPhone and see if it sounds good. If it does work well, then it might be the Droid.
Ok. Sounds like it's a problem with connecting to a Droid4...... does anybody have experience with connecting Prius v (lowercase v) with Motorola Droid
I am having issues with the fan of air conditioner on LOW and people tell me out sounds like all the Windows are down and going 90mph and they can't hear me and get frustrated with back ground noise. Id's there a fix or solution tho this or is it a bad design issue? The service advisor said it was normal and turn off while talking. He also said no one else has complained about this being an issue. Please help and advise off there is an adjustment off fix tho this. Thank you for your help! Rainy
I have no problems with the mic which is located on the ceiling next to the map lights. I would suggest the dealer change the part. Or look into a possilbe windshield leak blowing air into that assembly. You could test in the driveway by doing a phone call: a) without the AC on and then b) with the AC on but not moving.
Rainy, I used to get the same complaints. In my case the center vents were aimed too high and air was blowing into the microphone. Try lowering the center vents and test again... Good luck!
I have the same problem with my hatchback -- garbled, cuts in/out. I use an iPhone 5, and it seems to only have this issue when I'm driving/moving. Otherwise, it sounds fine when I'm parked (not moving). BTW, my windows are up, there's no (substantial) blowing from vents. Maybe there's something to this?
