My 2006 hit 40,000 miles today! See you sometime next spring when it hits 50,000! At this rate, I'll join the 100,000 miles club sometime in late 2017/early 2018.
haha, looking forward to my 40k in a couple months. Until then I can only dream of officially belonging to this club...
You guys must be calibrated to those extra length miles offered in package 66. I hit 40K before the paint had fully dried and expect to hit 100K in just a few months. Of course, if I stopped using the Prius for trips to the mailbox (across the street from my house) I could slow the odometer down to where the numbers aren't so blurry
Yeah, put more miles on the legs, Airportkid. My 2004 is at about 88,000 km, which is about 55,000 miles in your language. A good 10 of that was one long summer trip - we really don't use the car very often. I'm not sure it'll ever see 100,000 miles.
We've headed into the 80K's, in just under four years. I'm still driving a lot less than I did when I lived in Minnesota. There, our vehicles were averaging about 36K per year.
I lied. YESTERDAY I hit the 40,000 mile club (that's how long it took me to drive 50 miles. When I made the original post, I thought I'd have to go somewhere 25 miles away which was then cancelled).
Nobody cares about 41,000 miles, but you will be delighted to know I'm now on 42K! 42, of course, being the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.
The moment you've all been waiting for is here: I've joined the 50,000 miles club! 10,000 miles in a little over one year three months! Yay for me!
A cabbie in Vancouver CA took a Prius I to around 250,000, then Toyota took it for research while giving him a Prius II. He has at least 250,000 miles on his 2nd one!
140k on my odo. Besides engine and tranny oil change and air filter change nothing done to the car so far. Lowest TCO of any car I've ever owned so far.
I know everyone has been waiting breathlessly to hear the news, but IT HAS HAPPENED! My 2006 has now joined the 60,000 miles club! (Yes, I had to come back just to tell you that.)
I'm a couple of hundred miles short of the 60K end of my maintenance contract milestone... Gotta pay more... oh well.
