    You do know that Hurricane Sandy was a salt water event right?
    A Gen III Prius that sat in salt water for hours to maybe days is going to have major issues in time. There's just too much electronics wise (from wire harness to relays, sockets, etc...) in the Prius to replace everything to the point of it being as reliable as a non-flood car.

    Much worse than a salt water event. It was a haz mat water event as far as I can tell on tv but NY Rob you lived it so preach on brother.

    Yep, wiring harness has been replaced, and I have gone threw a few odds and ends that we're rusted, overall not too bad. I've put 14,000 miles on it now and nothing major has popped up. I'm not getting any EcU trouble codes, so I am happy.
