Here's a shot of the TSX projector screen.

Notice the curve vs the the flat one on the Prius.

I want to upgrade to HID lights but now I think I need to go to medical school to make sure my brain is seeing what my eyes thinks my brain is seeing. Or something like that. I bet the dud can really be fun at parties. Does he know that you don't see things. You only see the reflextion of things based on the amount of light that hits it and what angle it hits it. Also that if 2 people are in an elevator and 1 farts, everybody in the elevator knows who did it.
I want to upgrade I need more time and distance to miss a deer or coyote. And if I can put HID bulbs in a reflextive space to do it than I will.

PS hit 2 coyotes last week, deflected off edge of front bumper. got lucky. Now I need some stickers for my car with coyote with line through it.
Sorry for long post but I am at work and bored :)

All it takes is deciding what level you want to upgrade to, you can swap the bulbs in your current projector, or swap the bulbs and upgrade the projector too. One great thing about is if you just do bulbs and still want more, you dont lose anything adding the projectors on later.

IMHO the 6,000k bulbs have too much blue for me. When they go will go a step down.

Thanks for the info. A lot of people say 4300 is good. May try them, don't like the blue tint.

I used 5000k and to my eyes they just look white. It seems from what others have reported that cheaper kits are less color true and drift into blue quickly. 4300k is always a safe bet, I just REALLY didnt want the yellowish look either.

To give the kit credit and from what I read, it states some see a blue'ish tint with 6,000k.

Totally agree! My 4300ks have a very "white" light compared to halogens. It's worth repeating, higher the Ks lower the Lumens.

After reading info over at TRD, I am so confused. But they do say that the HID kit without changing out the projector works really well so I think I will get the kensun 4300 HID kit. Thanks for all the info

I recommend also replacing the marker bulbs above the headlights with LED. I believe it's a T10.

Interesting as I also own a RX350. I posted photos earlier in this thread and found the cutoff nor output so impressive. It's hard figure out what was done as the owner noted it was done by Light Werkz. Also, the HID may be more powerful than my stock RX's. Or perhaps the projectors were pre 2010 RX350?

I have two set of HID projectors, also known as a quad setup, but to increase the intensity of the RX350 projectors, Clear lenses were put in. OEM RX350 projectors come with fresnel lenses. Having clear lenses increases clarity giving you that super sharp cut off and better over all light output. But halogen projectors will work with a plug in play HID kit, all though not really recommended, and is also frowned upon by "lighting enthusiast" . I have both 4300K HID bulbs in mine. They have the best lumen output.
