For decoding VINs on vehicles sold in the United States, I suggest instead: Toyota’s Vehicle Information Lookup page, which works only for Toyota products and also retrieves information not encoded in the VIN, such as installed options and date of first use NHTSA VIN Decoder, which uses information in the official NHTSA Product Information Catalog and Vehicle Listing (vPIC) system, compiled from automakers’ required reports to the government
Info is wrong. Says my car is black When it was born silver. Zero info about service history. Incorrect number of previous owners.
