We just bought a 2013 Prius 2 in Blizzard Pearl. Messed up and got the Misty Gray interior instead of the dark gray. I just ordered a Kurgo rear seat cover in black since we have a black dog that is a shedding machine. My wife hates leather seats. We live in FL so something cool is important. I've looked at the Okole website and the Costco Sheepskins. I'm looking for comments and suggestions regarding other non-leather covers.
Didn't realize they came in non-leather. I'll take a closer look at their website. We've had the car 5 full days now and it has about 1,100 miles already. Very happy except for the interior. We test drove the Blizzard Pearl in Orlando with Bisque. After looking at the website, we decided we liked the Misty Gray but didn't see it in person before committing to buying out of town. In hindsight, the dark gray would have been better.
Same situation, but have the bisque interior. I wanted the light gray but dealer didn't have it. I am going to order some Clazzios. The good part about the light gray is that you have less miss matched parts. Your ceiling should match the rest of your interior, unlike the dark dray and bisque which still have the light gray ceiling.
Any comments about which type of cover is best in a hot environment? My wife hates leather because of the sweat factor.
I installed leather in my Prius C 2 and now I notice a "passenger" light over the SRS on/off airbags comes on now in the dash display, even when the seat is empty. Any way to get it out. Can it be flashed like a check engine light?
We bought the seat defender on Amazon a very practical approach to reducing wear , not the prettiest covers and they don't interfere with the side air bag. Very easy to install and remove for washing. Great for when we travel with our pets.
Just as an FYI, here is the back seat cover we bought for our dog. She is a heavy shedder and the cover worked great. There is still hair everywhere though. All you have to do is touch her and it goes flying. We bought it in black and it worked well. Bench Seat Cover for Dogs
I found a set of airbag safe covers at Big Lots and the back seat cover, for dogs, at marshalls have maybe $28 in both SPH-L710 ?
