Would like to get the Prius tinted. 35-40% hatch 50% sides. I live in San Gabriel Valley work over near LAX. Don't want to go darker on the sides so that I can reduce chances of getting pulled over + don't like the uneven look. I know that it is illegal to put anything on front side windows but am will to take the risk at 50%. So I know that 3M crystalline would be a great choice but seems to be 3 times more expensive than basic tint. Is there another good ceramic tint that isn't as costly as the Crystalline? Also any one have a tint shop recommendations in LA?
I have 20% 3M tint all around, 'cept for the windshield and lower rear hatch window which is untinted due to the material it's made of. For tint shops, I've got all of my tints done for the past decade at Sunshield Glass Tinting in Sherman Oaks - about a 20 mile drive from LAX.
