In the 2013 Prius 3 and 4... How much better is the JBL w/8 speakers over the HD with 6 speakers standard system? Thanks in advance...
Its completely relevant to your own taste, but the 2 systems are pretty different. The head units are much the same, the JBL system includes upgraded speakers plus a decent amp. Bottom line will be how hard to you like to push the audio, because the harder you push it the more the JBL system makes itself heard.
Thanks for your input. We ended up with the "stock" Prius 4 with the standard JBL radio. Now I have all kinds of new electrical do dads to figure out!
We ended up buying the Prius 4 with the standard HD radio. It's not as good as the JBL, but I didn't want to keep stacking $1000 bills on the sales desk. You gotta stop somewhere... Actually we ended up with the JBL with 6 speakers on the stock Prius 4... It's not as good as the 8 speaker JBL in our 2011 Prius 3 (2?) we sold. But it'll do.
