Looks the changes previously reported, DRLs and optional moon roof on model 3. However there's no option to add a moon roof if you try to build one.
The first thing I noticed in the gallery photos is that there are now on/off buttons for the front interior overhead lights rather than having to press the lens faces to turn them on and off - or did that change with the 2013 model year?
Thanx for sharing. Glad we didn't wait for 2014. Our 2013 classic silver v with ATP arrived mid Sept. Dlr at that time said he had the 2014 info but orders could not yet be placed. Extremely happy w/ v after 600+ miles and avg 44.3 mpg. So far added rear bumper protector, mud guards and shark fin antenna (all from PC). Waiting for new Prius v license plate frames found on eBay. Amazing amount of new technology available if you choose to delve into the manuals. Next step for us.....dump our Tracfone and get a decent smartphone to take advantage v's features.
We are also glad we pulled the trigger earlier on the 2013 model, looking at the 2014 cosmetic improvements. The dealership provided a steep discounted deal on their last floor model five metallic blue with ATP. Since we drive our cars till they quit, having a 2013 model allowed us to take advantage of lower insurance rates all while having a new car. So far, we are getting 42+ mpg between city and highway driving.
Re: Lack of moon roof option in Toyota website's build facility: I did a build of a model Three for the northern California area and pressed the website's Inventory button. Forty Threes were listed and none of them had moon roofs. Tried some ZIPs for adjacent states. Same result. I am guessing the production of the Threes with a moon roof is scheduled for later in the model year and that option will be added to the website just before they become available.
Lookalike one still cannot order the panoramic moon roof as a stand alone option? Woods, can you tell us where you got your bumper guard, mud guards and shark antenna? Not sure what PC stands for. thx... carl
