What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Ok, where did you get them or where can I buy them. This solves my hunt for "smoked" tail lights... Can't afford replacement, not sure about tint or spray... Thank you

 

What strips lights did you get. I saw some on eBay but not sure if they will fit. OK on my stock headlights.

(mine is a just a cover for the side.... it looks dark because my tail light housing is black... but the lens are clear)

have allot of stuff left sitting in the trunk but no one left to install them haha. My guy as usual disappeared again.

1. Rear LED break bar light blinker.
2. Hide window Black box cam wires and iPhone charger wires.
3. Chrome inside door handles and chrome trim
4. Side View Mirror cover/blinker



LOL! They have been sliding all over my trunk as I drive every day. So annoying. Hope I can get them done over the next week or so.

Been a while since I posted here, but updates since my last updates: front bumper chrome garnishes, chrome mirror covers and custom blacked-out headlights.

Neither right or wrong in real life. But, I'm getting mixed signals. Chrome accents on a "blacked out" car? I really like the blacked out headlights.

Yep! Ported an exact same mod from a previous project over to the Prius.

Lol, not really a "blacked out" car in the true sense. The chrome garnishes accentuate subtle details of the exterior, nothing too extreme, which I like. Might wrap them up in Lamin-X for protection and for the dark chrome look.



Next project is to swap in the blacked-out Toyota G's taillights and wire up its integrated rear fog light to complete the exterior. Waiting for my OEM tires to wear down before swapping in some new 17" gunmetal / black wheels.

Took the plunge and installed a pair of Infinity Reference 1031t 1" Dome Tweeters in the rear doors. I got the idea from another member, NoMoreNow.



The 1031t's are now discontinued, so I got them at an incredible price on ebay. Infiniti's replacement model, X REF-075tx is smaller (3/4") and pertrude much more. I am so impressed at how much of an improvement they have made.

 

Do they help shift the sound field toward the back?

Yes they do. I actually have it faded slightly toward the front now.

 

Thank you to R1 concepts for the cross and drilled zinc plated rotors for Sema 2013. R1 and WinMax brake pads will be a powerful braking combo on the Prius!
