I have a 2012 PIP (assume same technology as non-PIP Gen 3s?). I paired my Galaxy S3 phone with the PIP and when my phone receives a text message, I get the prompt on the Prius' screen to read the text message to me. I then paired my wife's iPhone4 to the car, but when she gets a text, there's no prompt on the Prius' screen to read the text. Where should I start troubleshooting this?
Turn the function on . Go to the Bluetooth settings on the phone for the car, and turn on "Show Notifications". It'll start displaying incoming messages the next time it connects to the car.
That did it, thanks. I was hunting around in the Prius menus trying to figure out what was going on but it was a setting on the iPhone itself!
