Wow, tough crowd. If only I could put the heading in italics.. maybe you would read into it the sarcasm that was associated with what I just did. I'm sorry for being Australian and trying to provide a bit of humour (humor in American spelling) this somewhat very serious straight-up-and-down place. I didn't realise modifying Prius was that serious. I'd better shut up and never share anything around here.
Sorry, didn't mean to come off harsh. But maybe you should have used more words in the first post to get your humour across? SCH-I535
The Prius Alpha in Japan is a 7 version of the car sold in the US as a 5 seater called Prius v. In Europe, both 5 and 7 seaters are sold as Prius+ Everyone got a better name than North America.
Gathered vee'erz, alpha'erz, +'erz...and Jimbo too - I think N.A. came out "v"elly "v"ell with the roll of the v(vee) dice by Toyota Town's marketing geniuses. My v(vee) wagon is and has been a "v"eritable "v"onder "v"agon for me as well as a delivering "Caddy In A Kimono" limousine-esque comfort and performance.
The Prius Alpha's that I've seen in Japan are 5 seaters just like our Prius v. I have yet to see the 7 seater to be honest.
