The previous owner set up the disabling of the beep (lock) and beep/beep (unlock) for my FOB. How do I turn it back on?
Forum mentioned that dealer might have the right tool to disable and enable that function, no idea for me. I used to googled before and in my case I thought previous owner disable lock chime but it turns out that the external buzzer for lock and unlock beep was missing. Bought a used one of toyota camry and had the local technical installed and it works like charm... It worth checking!
I hooked up the scan tool at the dealer and there wasn't any customizable flag for it so what was that part number you got?
Ouch, I'm sorry I don't know my friend and I'm not close to the item nor I can check it for you because it's under the hood and it isn't that easily accessible! However, I plan to bring a car for service soon and I will remember to check it for you
