So, I have just under 15k miles on my car (2012 Prius 3), and I noticed something interesting. All but one of my brake rotors is smooth to the touch. One, the rear drivers side one, is showing slight signs of being misshapen, like the metal is slightly warped. On other cars I've seen with this problem, they ended up needing new rotors when it came time to replace the brakes. I find it interesting that I am seeing this so early on this car, and only on one rotor; what would be the likely cause? I am not by any means hard on my brakes.
Let the service writer at your dealership document it, if they need to be ground so be it, but if it's on Toyota's computer you at least will have a bone to pick if it continues.
