I have a Sea Glass Pearl 2012 Prius 2 with the standard black 15's and silver wheel covers on it. I am thinking of losing the wheelcover, shooting the wheels silver, and adding a stock Toyota center cap. Would anyone be able to help me mock up a sense of how what is basically the 2010-11 silver wheel (sans the wheel covers) would look on my SGP 2012? Thank you!
Better yet is right, thank you! This is exactly what I needed to see, so next question... Seeking opinions here, so feel free. Does this too washed out, meaning does the black with the cover serve as good contrast to the SGP, or is it to harsh, and the silver looks better? I kinda dig the silver wheel look.
While I'm not a fan of the black rims, I think that there are probably plenty of 2010 owners who would be willing to trade their silver rims for your black ones. Better and easier to swap and have the factory finish than spraying them yourself.
