SAT Antenna booster replacement questions

    I'm new to satellite radio, and I'm starting to really like it. However, I've seen many people with the same issue that the radio looses SAT signal very easily. Most SAT antenna are flat. Does the Prius use the mast for SAT radio, or is it inside the base of this? Has anyone attempted to get a better antenna that just screws onto this base?[​IMG] Prius-Ant.jpg

    why does it suck so bad? Also, where is the connection for that? Is it a direct run to the radio?
