I have a question and want to see if anyone else can replicate this besides myself. If I'm using Bluetooth to listen to music and my headlights are on when I switch the headlights off to just parking and the daytime running lights the navigation/radio shuts off the music and goes to the off screen. At first I thought it was just a fluke, but then several more times I tried it and every time it turns off. I have the 2012 Prius 3 with the HD XM standard navigation system. *I only just discovered this because I had my phone in my pocket instead of my phone holder which has the cable in it. I didn't want to pull the phone out and put it in the cradle so I just connected by Bluetooth. Little did I know when I went to turn the headlights off because the sun had come up enough that the music would stop.
I have a 2012 plug in. when i initially start the car up...bluetooth connects...then if i turn the headlights on the head unit shuts off as if i have not turned it on yet. i have an appt on tues. i will let u know what they say.
I came here to find out if this has happened to anyone else! 2014 Prius V, and this has happened three times to me. Similar - always when parking or slowing at a ticket gate or something....turning lights off causes the audio to shut off. I haven't gotten the steps to replicate, however, as it doesn't always happen....any updates?
