I am looking at the Prius v 2013 brochure Pg 7 and it shows on v2 "Includes 6.1 in touch screen with integrated backup camera. The v2 model I test drove did not have a backup camera. The dealer said it is not available on the v2. The brochure says it is standard on the v2. Is it standard on the v3?
All the v models are supposed to have the camera, according to Toyota. "Display audio with integrated back-up camera and smart key system". Perhaps this was changed late in the year, or for 2014? http://www.toyota.com/priusv/features.html#!/interior/1243/1245/1249
Just got a model two two weeks ago, model Two does have one. However, Prius Two does not have one, neither does Prius C
Just checked the Toyota Prius v build one. Under the Prius v two package, here is the features. Looks like it has one to me. Prius v Two EV 13/ECO/POWER Modes Display Audio/Bluetooth®4/backup camera 1 Smart Key System 10
I've got a 2013 Prius v Two that I purchased in April, as I recall. It's definitely the basic vehicle without any extras (except I upgraded the upholstery since I don't like cloth seats). This car definitely has a backup camera.
Thank you for the replies. I guess the dealer that told me there was no backup camera in the v Two was misinformed. Not surprising. It is nice to have a forum like this to get the real answer
