    Hi everyone,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    I have a 2004 Prius.

A few days ago, after a 10 minute stop at a store, my power windows would no longer function. They were working just fine before the stop. And yes, I've checked the child safety window lock button. :)

After researching the problem, I tried:
    • resetting the windows (hold door open at least 1/4, hold window button up for 10 seconds)
    • checking all the fuses
    • Disconnecting the 12V battery for a few hours and reconnecting
    • standing outside the car, staring thoughtfully with my hands on my hips
    None of these worked.

Yesterday, while my wife had the car, the windows worked.
Today, I started it up and tried the driver's side window. I could feel/hear it try to move for about 1 second but there was no movement. After that, nothing was responsive.

Now, I noted that the electronic door lock button controlling all the doors isn't working either.

But.... the controls for the outside mirrors are working fine.

I don't have the cash right now to spend a few hundred bucks at the dealer so it's up to me to fix it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is only a few years old but that's a good idea. Thank you.

I'll check it tonight when my wife gets home.

    Any other ideas?
