Here is a video of our latest 10kwh product in a Gen2 Prius Over 1000 miles on a tank averaging 100+ MPG various installation etc videos here; BoulderHybrids - YouTube
I do not know about rocking lol......... I assume there is nothing DIY about your product.... The video is okay and better than past youtube post..............really curious about all the technical details.........cost breakdown.............and non Colorado residents...........
I think the video says something like $14,000 for non-Colorado residents. I don't think it is sold as a do it yourself kit.
I would love to have one in my ride but 14k is very steep for me to every get my money back on gas savings.
This type of investment is solely for the Joy of having the extra stored electrical charge for a Tesla make believe kinda ride. Expensive, YES, but satisfying the urge for more EV range.
So I was looking at Plug-In website and under the "competitors" link, I found this... If this is true, shame on yall. The type of business behavior I absolutely despise.. Plug In Solutions We had the unpleasant experience of working with Plug In Solutions from November 2009 through mid April 2010. During that time they violated our partnership agreement by not paying contractors, not paying suppliers, and not paying dealers. They also failed to share revenue and cheated customers. They shipped defective systems containing "used" components. After we terminated the partnership they continued to sell a poor quality copy of our 10 KW Prius system. We have examined several and found unsafe wiring and shoddy installation. They use pirated control software. If you purchased a 10 kw system from Plug In Solutions you should have it inspected. It is not safe. Plug In Solutions also harassed us with two frivolous lawsuits in small claims court. These were judged to be without merit and were dismissed. They continue to slander us on web-based discussion boards to anyone who will listen. You can find these rantings and ravings by searching the web with: Plug In Solutions, Jungle Motors, Plug-In Supply, Robb Protheroe, Brad Sachs, Andra Sachs. Contact us if you need more information. Boulder Hybrid Conversions and 3 Prong Power Boulder Hybrid Conversions (BHC) and 3 Prong Power obtained a number of old defective control circuit boards from Plug In Solutions during 2011. They used these defective control boards to build and sell unauthorized copies of our 10 KW system under the BHC name. They call it an "Improved Plug-In Supply" design, though there is nothing improved about it. In reality it is an unsafe, inferior copy of what we sold in 2009. These systems do not have Max RegenTM, Automatic EVTM, or High Speed EVTM. They use pirated control software with bugs from an unknown source. If you bought a BHC 10 kw system, look at your rear control circuit board. If it says "Rev 6" it is probably defective. You can expect premature cell failure with strong odor due to overcharging the cells. These defective systems can be upgraded. Contact us for details.
To clarify, you were looking at the PlugInSupply.com website. We (Boulder Hybrid Conversions) politely asked them on multiple occasions to remove their false statements about Boulder Hybrids, but they ignore our requests. Our product has nothing to do with PlugInSupply equipment and has a completely different architecture. For a while we thought of posting "our side of the story" on our website, but I agree, that type of behavior is very unprofessional and looks childish. A smart consumer will research the products/vendors and come to their own conclusions. If anyone wants to know specifically how our product differs feel free to contact us directly, or better yet ask customers of ours who use our product. link to our website; Boulder Hybrid Conversions
