I paid 25,900. I thought it was a decent price, for Chicago. They also gave a 7000 trade in on a rather abused 2001 Highlander.
i really like the V. just not sure it makes sense financially. it was a lot more $ than my model 2 prius. is it really more spacious? i heard it has less legroom in rear. is that true?
I have never owned a Prius before, so I cannot say. With a new baby and a dog, we need the extra trunk space. We like to go on road trips too, with all the above, so throw luggage in the mix.
We didn't compare it to the Prius sedan. It had a lot of backseat leg room but that was not our main concern as we rarely have passengers in the back seat. We were more interested in the cargo space. We are use to the high floor of the cargo space in an SUV. (trading in a Lexus RX). My wife did not like the idea of stooping down to get groceries, etc and lifting up out of the trunk. I think, overall, there is a lot more room in the v than in any other Prius. We pick our new v up at the dealer tomorrow morning.
