What kind of leather? .

    Just wondering what kind of leather I have in my 2012 Prius 3. It has perforated not the soft tex ones I have seen mostly. Could it be possibly be a port installed option?. I'm kinda curious.

    I can't say for sure about the 2012 model but for 2o10 only the IV and the V had leather seats from the factory. I suspect 2012 was the same, if so you may well have port or dealer installed leather seat covers.

    You have a Three so it's aftermarket leather, either port- or dealer-installed.

    I found great information on an older thread. It's an L2 leather with liquicell option installed at the port, Gulf States Toyota with a 1399.00 list. Thanks for your help.

    Looks great, just slightly different than the factory leather, seams in different places etc. At $1399 that was a pretty spendy option.
