Hi everyone, I just bougth a Prius v with a navigation system this week. It set as mile on the map and in the vocal guide, i never used mile in my life, i really want to change it to KM. I didn`t found the instruction in the prius owner guide, any ideas? Thanks
Unfortunately, this button only impact the format on dashboard which is working well, but this doesn't impacting the GPS
I just got my answers, its seem that Toyota technician forgot to set the GPS to the Canadien metric. I will bring the car today to Toyota to set it correctly. Thanks
You should be able to change yourself also.... 1 Press the “SETUP” button. 2 Touch “General” on the “Setup” screen. 3 Touch “Unit of Measurement”. 4 Touch “km” or “mile”. The previous screen will be displayed. 5 Touch “Save”. Page 46 http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav/OM47675U/pdf/02-2.pdf
So I have gone through that whole five step setup. The first four steps work just fine, but step 5 , "the previous screen will be displayed", never happens. Just stays at step four with the selection selected, but nothing happens.
Go back to Navi and set an address the units should be changed to km. It works on mine, there is no Step 5. the 1st 4 steps does the trick
Make sure you are doing it in English or Spanish. Option is not there in French Canadian per the book. You can make the change, then switch back to French would be a work around.
