The reason I was wondering what color is because I think I know where a red may be.. but you need to add to your profile your location so people will know how to help you and what your talking about when you make references to weather, or availablity of cars, or similiar. And welcome to the forum!..... We enjoy helping each other out..... location just makes it alot easier.
In the latest Toyota color chart that I have seen, the footnote describing the availability of magnetic gray for Prius was changed from spring 05 - forgot which month - to January 07, and the indicator for model year 2006 Prius was removed.
Good job looking that up.... that stinks, I wonder whats up with that? Its good that you found that out.. it would be ashamed for him to squelch a deal just to find out that it still cannot pan out till next year? So now the next question is "can you wait a whole year?" or does it matter that much? Thats gonna peeve alot of people... theres alot thats waiting for that color... Oh well... I saw one on the lot when I picked mine up a week and a half ago and thought it was a really nice color, kind of a light green metallic. I almost thought I would rather have it than the classic silver I ordered! But I am happy with mine, nonetheless.
ya....ha....ha all that worry over whether or not i'd like the silver pine mica....for nothing. I love it! what a great color for the little Prius. only one problem.....wish i would have found the cruise control before i got the SPEEDING TICKET (71 in a 55). little car didn't want to go 55. wanted to go fast. happy happy me the proud owner of a 2006 Prius SPM, pkg. 8 thanks for all your help everyone.
Doh!! It's hard to tell how fast you're going in the Prius, it's so smooth at higher speeds. I was following my husband home from the dealership last week after I picked mine up, then saw the speedo read 81 mpg (in a 65 zone) and immediately slowed it down to 70. Glad no one caught me, I had NO clue I was going that fast!! (Well, other than looking the speedo of course!)

Your right there!.... since we are talkng about Barcelona here...I just want to let anyone know in my area that I have access to a red barcelona package #8 if anyone wants it I need to hear "tonight".. it won't be available after that. Its the one that I originally ordered through my broker. He was 2 weeks late from me finding one myself so I already have mine. I am going to place a post about this.
