It's back at dealer for nonworking door lock motor and paintless dent removal, glad I caught the ding before I left dealership. What a way to start an ownership ha. Other than that pretty stoked. We had Mercedes ML suv but ownership cost was eating me alive. It's got almost everything I wanted... leather, solar package, moonroof, navi. It's a silver certified pre-owned with 32K miles. Hopefully nothing major bad happens for many years in the future.
The Prius I got was new and it had scratches on it. I caught it before I left the lot but it was a saturday afternoon and the shop has already closed. I brought it back a few days later and they gave me a Rav 4 as a loaner. What a POS, the accelerator was overly sensitive and the brake was under-sensitive. It gave me a headache.
I just bought an Odyssey and experienced the same issue, but our entire passenger door electronics quit working! Was an easy fix by exchanging the electronics relay that would never wake up. Makes me wonder how much quality control is really happening. It seems like with most every new car I have purchased there was some issue that needed to be addressed. The only exception was my used Prius ;-)
I'm little confused about hybrid warranty. I've read at the dealership that hybrid components have 8 year 100K mile warranty. Now I'm reading online that in CA(I'm in CA) you get 8 years and 150K mile coverage. Is this true? Also are Gen III batteries better than previous models? TIA
