Hello Guys I live in NJ and in summer i am getting a full charge of 8.1 miles. In winter i used to get almost 11 miles. I thought in summer the charge will be even more?. Am i missing something?. Any body run into similar issue?. Thanks....
This is YOU, the way you drive. You must go slow, slow starts, slow stops, etc. No A/C(when on EV) NOthing that will use electric. Charge often. The car will remember how you drive and the miles per charge will increase slowly. I live in NY and I went from 9.0 in winter to 12.5 in summer.
state of charge probably doesn't change to much, but estimated range does, as zimmy says. and perhaps you get better winter range because you use the ice more. trying going out everyday in your spare time for a full electric drive at slow speed (average around 20 mph) and stay close to home so you can return before ice comes on. then see what your estimated range does each day after charging.
I could give you a suggestion, but each time I do, nobody is interested in trying it. Disconnecting a wire is apparentlyy too hard! But, I will agree with the previous posts.
Are we talking here about the estimate of EV range that shows on the dashboard display, or the actual EV range determined by some other means?
Why don't you read your answers for the same question you asked with a defferent heading. Or did you expect different aswers to the same question if you asked it with a different heading? 2012 plug-in basic gets lower miles after full charge in summer
