Does anyone now when I should use the tire pressure reset bottom under the dash? Do I need to reset the system after I adjust the pressure every time?
The manual states that the tire warning system must be initialized when the following occurs: - When rotating tires front to rear, because front and rear tires have different pressure settings and.. - When changing tire size. So to answer your question, no you do not have to reset or initialize the system every time you air up.
I'd also reset it any time you've done a significant change to tire pressures, ie: raised or lowered. Regarding the different pressures for front and rear, I'm opting now just to set them the same, saves hassles when rotating.
