I have decided on a lift back to be my first hybrid vehicle replacing my gas guzzling Ford Mustang.

I plan on getting a Blizzard Pearl Prius 3 with Solar Roof package. Right now my dealership is offering it for ~$26,000 with 0.0% APR for 60 months. Is this a better deal than if I would wait until the 2014s come out? I assume the 2013 will be less than $26,000 when the 2014 comes out but I the 0.0% interest will be gone by then.

Which do you think will give me a better deal?

2013 Prius 3 with Solar Package for $26,000 and 0.0% APR now
    or
2013 Prius 3 with Solar Package for ? once the 2014 comes out with potential interest

I don't know when it will be out it will look the same the revamp is 2015, I guess I would take the savings if it big enough. What is the sticker I know my dealer still has a new 2012 Prius 4 with solar/entune $31,500msrp knocking $5k off to start...................

I'm in a similar boat. When does Toyota generally release their next model year vehicles? Some companies start as early as September and others wait until December or later. I know it depends on a variety of factors, but in general when have the next model year Priuseses come out?

I'm not concerned with the 0.0% rate, because I prefer to go with my credit union, but I don't want the $750 to be gone also.

The MSRP on the Prius 3 w/ Solar is like $28,500 ish. Is $26,000 asking price high? Seems I could do better maybe....

2014 won't deliver until after mid Dec. if you really want to hold out until then...

Well if you can find someone with a HSN gas coupon you can get $1000 in gas cards that would help

That's their general timeframe for Prius releases? I believe you, but just wondering if there's source on that?

Being a timetraveler must be nice.

2013 was delivered at November/December time frame. 2014 seems to be a little late. ask your dealer about it. you can order 2014 Prius now, but production is a few months down the road...

If you drive 12,000 per year, in the four months until Dec, you might drive 4,000 miles. In the Mustang (23 mpg?) that amounts to 173 gallons @ $4/gal = $692. For a Prius, 80 gallons, $320. Savings for buying now: $372 from gas savings.

I'm curious about this too. The current incentives Toyota has for their Nationwide Clearance event expire Tuesday, September 3rd. If we wait until after these incentives expire will the deals be as good in late September or early October as they are now? There are some really good lease deals right now with a money factor rate well under 1% and I don't want to miss out by waiting if the deals won't be as good in another month. I haven't been able to find any information about past history of Toyota pricing so I'm curious if anyone on here has experience that they can share. Thank you!
