Hi Everyone, My wife and I fell in love with the prius. We got her a 2010 Blizzard Pearl prius 2 and its a joy to drive. After all the gas savings we decided to get one for me too! We didn't really do very much research on the packages prior to buying. It was mainly focused on price. Hers was a lease trade in and after searching and going over prices we felt we got a great deal on her prius 2. When we started looking for mine it was also mainly based on price. We found another 2010 leased prius, however this one was a winter gray prius 3 with navigation and solar+moon roof. And it wasn't that much more than the prius 2. We are both very happy with the cars and looking forward to becoming part of the prius community.
Wow, two of these little jewels in one household. Smart move there. What great cars. Welcome to the club. Drive safe and enjoy.
It really is, but actually I'm in the middle of selling my Chrysler 300c. It's a 5.7 liter v8 hemi. For shame! I know. But soon we will be all hybrid!
I too know the feeling . I traded my 3/4ton pickup for a 2nd gen Prius, my wife thought i was crazy, until she saw I went from $50 a week , to $15 for fuel. Month later, she traded in her beautiful CTS caddy for a 2013 prius, she loves it. Says she actually feels more comfortable driving the Prius, boy I hope so.
Congrats also. I'm in the hunt looking to pick up a Prius III and then sell my Saturn Aura 6 cyl. It gets about 29mpg on highway, but doesn't come close to Prius numbers. Prius' hold their value, not sure whether to pull the plug and buy new or keep looking.
