Hello, new member here. Just got my new 2012 prius C two last week, so far It's been great. Just been doing some reading around on here, thought I saw a post that said Prius C doesn't have a coolant thermostat? Is this true? Awesome group of people here it seems, I've been enjoying learning all the innovative systems on our cars. Worked as an auto technician for last five years, but never on any prius, they seem to be a entirely different creature Thanks guys

Thanks Bisco, I went from a Honda Ridgeline, to this, the mpg change is so nice. Feels so much better driving around and not spending so much on gas. wow I'm sorry I thought I posted this in the Technical category.
The C does have a thermostat it just does not have gauge, if you want to know the coolant temp you need to get a scan gauge or something similar.
Me either but you can be sure the Yaris/Prius has one. Good warmup is essential. Can't imagine why it would be a problem for a least 50k miles. Being devices they will fail eventually.
