I really, really want to do some space tourism. Even just one of those Virgin Galactic flights: I'd just love to see the views and experience the zero-g. From here, it's a budget-holiday destination, like Mexico is for Americans. I haven't been. But lots of my friends have, and they all spoke very highly of it. There are very good hotels, lovely French-colonial buildings, French-tropical food, and fantastic beaches. And it's not as expensive or full of tourists as Tahiti. Or for a cheap alternative, you could always try Guadeloupe or Martinique - they're French tropical islands, and they're a lot closer to home for you. Now is the time to go. So you should. We went at Christmas. The tourism industry has been suffering as a result of people's fears of fallout from Fukushima, so hotels and tourist attractions are very cheap, and not very busy, and you'll be helping to save jobs by turning up in those places. And as long as you avoid the exclusion circle around Fukushima, there's no risk from the fallout. And it's a brilliant place to visit. There's so much to do, and so many things to see. And the food is brilliant, and people are very friendly.

Honestly, my life is pretty simple and there isn't much left that remains as an important goal for me. Great family/kids.... check. Learn how to barefoot waterski..... check. Jump out of an airplane..... (5 times)...... check. Race NASCAR dirt series.... (12 years)..... check. I would like to shoot in the 60's for 18 holes before I die. My personal best is only a 2-under par 70 (twice). So OK, I guess I still have one goal in life.
