Hello everyone I am new to the forum, I have my PIP since November 2012 and I have taken a few long trips on it(16,000 miles on it already). I really love this car, I gave up a 98 Ford Escort and 05 Highlander. Just moved to Houston Katy area from Queens N.Y.C. and I noticed that my cell phone and the other electrical devices connected (4 in all) would not charge while connected at the same time during our trip here, is there a setting that I can change so that I can accomplish the charging of the electrical devices? Thank you for your help.
Hello Usbseawolf, yes two connected under the flying bridge and the other two connected in the storage box in between the seats. All four using a sprint dual charger.
In Gen2 Prius, the fuse that powers the cig lighter is 15 amp. If it is the same with gen3, you have about 200 watts to pull.
To many items plugged in. Get a 12volt to 120 volt adapter. Used mine to charge and play a kindle and ipad. SCH-I535 ? 2
