Does anyone offer full door panel/trim upgrades to replace the plastic interior, even the regular Prius seems better detailed, though I realize they were shooting for a younger crowd appeal on this model. Would that it had a leather upgrade like the full size model Prius. Any suggestions, love the car but I don't want to put those fake wood appliqués in it and call that an upgrade, not the look I'm aiming for.
I asked the vinyl guy who did my front and rear bumper and he said that because the surface of most of the prius c interior is bumpy, ridged, etc and not smooth, it is difficult for the vinyl to stick and it would eventually lift and/or bubble. I'm guessing if you had the $, you could get it leather wrapped by a custom upholstery shop or DIY.
My armrests on the front doors are leather covered. Came with the aftermarket dealer installed heated leather seats. Nice little addition I was not expecting. Dan
Has anyone installed or attempted to install the after market door sills for the Prius C? If so, any info or docs on installation instructions? Is it as simple as installing them on the Gen III? Any photos of them installed on any Pc's? Thank you....
^ got links or pics? There are some really nice trim kits in Japan, but they are backwards so most of the pieces don't fit our cars. I'm looking forward to more USA aftermarket support for the interior!
I used spray paint to make parts of my interior blue, and this lets you keep the texture. I can always buy the cheap plastic parts if I need to replace it to look stock to sell. Pics at link below. Prius-C.jpg
