Well...Today is Wed. 5/5 and my dealer just called me and said that a Tideland Pearl #9 was coming in in 30 days and the others in the wait list ahead of me had turned it down, so...I took it. :clap: So our wait ends up being about 4 weeks from order to delivery. Now we have to think up an appropriate anthropomorphized name for it. And a vanity plate. So much to do...so little time.
I actually called Koloso whwn I was looking for mine. (I'm originally from Kaukauna and have a sister in Menasha). But the line was shoerter in Winona (not to mention it was a lot closer to me) Brian ex valley guy
We have been loyal Kolosso customers for over 35 years. Don't think that had any bearing on our getting our Prius so quickly, but it did mean that we weren't required to give a deposit. (they usually ask for $250 to $500) Now that we know that we'll be getting ours soon, my wife, Teddy and I have been driving past the dealer lot daily to gawk at their dealer demo. :lol:
My dealer/salesman just called to give me the VIN and to tell me that our car was due in port tomorrow the 14th. So it wont be long now, however long it takes to transport it to Wisconsin. Woo Hoo!

We took delivery on a rainy Friday 5/29/04. Today is Monday and it has been raining on and off ever since. Nevertheless we have been happily taking and giving test drives around town with friends and neighbors. We know for sure that the wipers work OK. ;-) Still learning about the nav system. We are happy as clams.
Congrats, Larry! It seems that the tideland #9 isn't very popular here in NE WI. A number of people ahead of me in Green Bay passed one up as well, so I was able to snag it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!
