Hello, I just bought a 2013 Prius 2 and love it. I bought it because i commute 120 miles round trip a day... so it was a no brainer! I am no Toyota guy (my blood is FORD blue) but i must admit this car is pretty remarkable. I have been able to get 53mpg @ 70-75mph.. not too bad IMO! I look forward to leaning more about these cars and what they have to offer. Cheers!
I don't think anyone here will tar and feather you for admitting you like Fords. However, after a few years with a Toyota product, we will wonder about your sanity if you haven't changed your attitude.
LOL... thanks.. tar and feather will not be good... i will always be a FORD man but for the mean time i will ENJOY this awesome gas saver!
I have always been a Ford truck man! I have had two Prius's now for 8+ years. I still have my 78 Ford super cab for when I need a fix, which isn't very often!
c-max is a sub compact.. i need a little more room.. i have a wife and kid... focus dioesnt get 50mpg... BTW... i am getting 60mpg these days doing 70-80 depending on traffic.
I really like the new Ford cars, a lot actually. I think the Ford Fusion is really a terrific looking midsize car. Still worried about long term reliability of a Ford. I do remember very clearly being stuck in a Ford Escort. Not a very good car back in the 80's. Not really fair to compare the two cars though.
Must be nice to live near fresh water... the salt here kills Ford's. I've had 3 burst brake lines in our 98 Expedition in less than a year due to severe rust on the dam steel lines Ford uses. Loss of brakes is not fun while trailering a 3000+ pound boat! My wife is so fed-up with Ford that she declined a free (in good shape) 2003 Explorer from one of our relatives who was moving out of the country.
well come on... the 98 Expo would be 15 yrs old... and the 03 is going on 11 yrs old... any vehicle that old will have its problems regardless of the make.
