I am considering buying a used 2012 v 5 at dealer (not Toyota); it's listed as ATP pkg but there is no moonroof which seems to be included in the ATP package. What gives?
Ask the non-Toyota dealer to show you how the moonroof works since it has the ATP package. That should stump them....
There are several things that distinguish the AT package, the moonroof is one of them. JBL badges on dash and speakers and the 7" rotating display are also kind of hard to miss. No surprise that the dealer doesn't know that.
Thanks for your replies- I think it may be an honest error, they really didn't know much about the car. Asking about 24,000 for 2012 v5 with 13,000 miles on it. Looks clean, carx report is clear, one owner. Is this a deal? I'm debating between this and a new one, I'd get the v2 or 3 though, I don't care for a moonroof anyhow.
Its not a particularly good or bad deal, but it would help to know what model it actually is. Might be a Five or might not. Some dealers still have new 2012 models at discounts. But if you can still get 0% finance on a 2013, that's the way to go.
It's def a 2012 v 5 w/ the faux leather seats but does not have the AT pkg, it is the soft tex seats, 17 in wheel, fog lights/LED.
I just checked and 0% is still available on 2013 models at 36-48-60 months. So if you're financing a used or new 2012, be sure to calculate the total cost compared to a "free financing" 2013 model. And there are warranty consideration, you won't get the Toyota Certified warranty from another dealer. Either way you'll get a great car.
I just picked up my new 2013 v Five, no ATP for just over $29,500 OTD. You may want to try new with the available deals now at model year end.
