intelligent parking assist (IPA) doesn't show on navigation

    I have 2010 prius III with JBL E7022 navigation. I dont know why i cant get the IPA system when i put the shift to "R" and the Auto Parking Assist pre support selection button right side the steering wheel is blank.

    Dont I have IPA option for my navigation?

    I believe the parking assist only comes in Prius V's advance technology package.

    The easiest way to check I think - let's have a look if the backup camera is existing.

    It is only available on the V/5/Five. Do you have a IPA button down below the power button to the right of the steering wheel? Do you have ultrasonic sensors on the sides of your front bumper cover?

    there is no IPA when my back up camera on.
    and there is blank under the power button
    looks like i dont have IPA :(

    It is not all it is cracked up to be you really are not missing anything. It is a neat thing to show friends, you can park the car faster yourself.

    Agree with you.

    There really is only one time of year, and in certain conditions that I really like the feature;

    When I have a car full of people, and it is dark and rainy outside, it is nice to prescan a curb spot and let the car park itself. I don't want to park by feel with reduced visibility and have learned to trust the system, slow as it is, to park.
