Jdm steering wheel

    Has anyone with a plug in installed this yet? I am planning on tackling this today and want to know if any I the procedures are different from the post in the modifications forum: JDM Prius Steering Wheel | PriusChat

    Done! Took me about 45 min. A couple of differences.. I had 2 plugs on the back of the air bag rather than one plug.. Also the battery was easier to get to.. Just have to open the rear center tray and pop out the right tray covering the battery.. No need to remove the whole center tray like the regular Prius.. Pics to come.. Very pleased with this mod!

    Yes.. Now when I touch the wheel I feel silky smoothness .. It makes the skin on my hands happy :)

    I cant believe they use the steering wheel they do in the Base. Even the steering wheel that came with my 94 Civic was better (smoother to the touch, higher quality feel, not rough, hard plastic)
