This seems like my issue.ill get to 70mph lift my foot off the pedal and the seems to dip to 65 before I know it. No lead foot here.

Wonder if the shifter is in B mode.

    Should be in D

Stop driving binary style! Modulate pedal pressure to maintain speed. Don't jam the pedal then take off then on then off then on. Apply foot, press down and keep pressed down at the same pressure that makes you go the speed you want.

Ill have to test this and report back. I noticed this could be something that could be done. Driving in B mode and not even noticed

Hate it when I realize I am driving in B mode. ICE is still running when you stop at red lights. I avoid B at all costs.

Yes, our miles are shorter too. And our hours are slightly longer... ;-)

Back to the OP, what took me time to get right was that slight pressure on the accelerator that moves the electric ... thingy .... from generator to either nothing or just a little motor. Taking your foot off the pedal altogether is the equivalent of gentle braking in a normal car.
