I know there has been some discussion regarding mudguards - where to get them and $$. I saw my local Toyota dealer yesterday and he said a set of 4 2004 Prius mudguards would cost $40 This seems quite reasonable compared to prices I have seen on this forum. Has anybody else priced them at Toyota?

That's a great price in the US. I checked with my local dealer here in Missouri and the only place they could find them, at the time (1 month ago) was in the Gulf-Coast region. And they were about $180 for the full set of 4 flaps!!

I got mine from Toyota Town in Canada for about $45USD shipped.

Yup, no problem at all. I used the FAQ on Tom's VFAQ, but the included instructions would have been fine. Took about 45 minutes and looks great. Very simple install.

Evan, is this the ToyotaTown in Langley, BC that others, including myself, have used? Do you have a part number you can post?
    Thanks,
    Bob

That's the one, and I think the part number is : C0060-47004-P

Just call them and ask. Someone posted that they're back ordered until June though. Someone else mentioned getting them from a US dealer for $45 as well...Search the 2-3 Mud Flap threads to find that.

I ordered the mud guards, haven't received them yet. I'm considering only installing the front ones, as the rear doesn't seem to splash the body like the front does.
