I notice that when I close my door, it actually sounds like metal on metal. Looking closely it doesn't appear to line up well with the latch on the door. Anyone else have an issue like this? Think I may have to take it into the dealer to have it checked out.
Just rattling of the license plate frame. I haven't noticed any metal on metal sounds like you describe though.
My wife slightly 'bumped' the wall in the garage with my RAV4 V6 rear corner (driver side), and I have that same exact issue, so I do believe you are talking about alignment issue.
