Hey everyone! I've been lurking this forum for a few months, and just yesterday bought a 2011 Prius II with 50k miles. I got a pretty good price, and the car is from a toyota dealership and is toyota certified. I didn't notice when I was at the dealership, but when I was playing around with the car parked in my garage, I noticed the car gets quite noisy when then a/c comes on... Is this normal????? I'm canadian and recently relocated to southern Florida for work, so needless to say I couldn't believe the savings I got when I bought the car! Keep fit and have fun!
I've noticed the same thing especially when I'm stopped at a red light or stop sign with the A/C on. I hope it's normal.
welcome aboard and enjoy the ride! when the engine is off, everything seems noiser but is probably normal. does it produce cool air well?
