Front Windshield wiper not working! need help

    I brought 2012 prius plug-in 6 months ago and I have been very happy with it, until this morning front windshield wiper suddenly decided to stop working, I am not sure what happened overnight except that it rained yesterday night for an hour. Rear one is working fine, its only the front one which seems to have a problem. If anyone could guide me in the right direction in getting this issue resolved, I would really appreciate.

    I had my front wipers quit on me on my 2010 Prius, took it to dealer, they gave me loaner car because when they ordered replacement part it got rerouted to another dealership. got my car back in a week:cry:

    Have you checked the simple things first? The fuse may have blown.

    Yes I did, fuse seems to be okay. Feel free to tell me if i missed anyother small things, I will check em out( as I am not a Tech guy)..Thanks-Raj

    Try replacing the fuse anyway.

    I had my wipers die intermittently last winter. Despite the wipers presenting as dead (then, suddenly alive!) for the service writer they were unable to reproduce the problem. They replaced the fuse at my request and the problem has not reoccurred.

    Whatever happened to the ToyotaCare program ? You seemed to obviously take things on your hands.
    We would like to know, what else this program would not cover, if it did not take care of this, within 5 months of ownership.

    3yr/36,000mile bumper to bumper warranty.(not obvious wear items)

    If you have replaced the fuse to no avail, take it in. that is what warranty is for.

    Took it to a dealer today and they had to replace the motors. Luckily they had one in stock, the tech mentioned he is surprised to see this happen with prius and has never done one for prius before. Thank you all for ur help.
