I put some different wheels on the C yesterday. I bought these wheels for my privious car ( Hyundai Accent). The guy I got them from had them on a VW. They are 16" with 205/45/16 tires on them. I rode it down the interstate and accordint to my calc when showing 60 moh it is actually going 58.6 mph. Not too bad. I paid $140 for the tires and wheels when bought and ran them about 30,000 on the other car. How do they look???
I've noticed in your posts: is there any problem with your keyboard? I guess they're alloy wheels. Looks good, from the body color: silver to black to silver/chrome to black and to chrome/white. What was the year of your Accent? It might be cheaper if looking for a set of alloy in Accent.
It is a 2012. The bolt pattern is the same as some VW's, Mazdas, Hyundais and probably a lot more. The problem is not with my keyboard it is with my typing. I also have a set of factory alloy wheels off a Scion XB that will fit (15"). The Accent I had was a 2008 model.
Looks good. One concern man: Having the speedometer off like that, isn't it going to report inaccurate mileage and MPG? meaning for every time your car thinks it's traveled 60 miles, you have actually gone 58.6. So in turn, it will indicate it helped increase miles per gallon by saying you drove farther then you actually did?
Having the speed odometer off does lead to incorrect mpg readings ,etc. The reason I put these wheels on car is to see if I needed larger tires to prevent this. The tires on the wheels are 205/45/16 and are pretty worn out. By checking these for fit I now am pretty sure a 205/50/16 would be the perfect size to correct this. When I buy tires that is what I will buy. I plan on buying 16" tires when my 15s are worn out.
