Today I had a water pump, belt, and new spark plugs installed in the Padawon, who has 113k on the dial now.

i used black plasti-dip. i did not remove the emblems before spraying. I simply peeled away the plasti-dip from the emblems after it dried. :)

Yes and it also makes the engine look bigger.

Would the plasti-dip melt when the engine gets hot?

Did you trim the cover that fits over the inverter? In my 2013, that metal piece that sticks out towards the right doesn't fit through the hole on my engine cover.

When I had these installed on my 2010, the 2010 didn't have that metal piece that sticks out to the right so I never had a problem.

I wished those two pieces popped off. But there are several small screws holding it in place.

Well I finally got my car back from the body shop last Tuesday. My first rental was a Nissan Versa and the second was a Hyundai Sonata. The Versa sucked. The Hyundai wasn't too bad to drive, but it was large and talk about blind spots! It's so nice to have my Pruis back!

Anyway, I had an opportunity to install my Megan Racing coilovers today. They are currently set to about 1.6" drop on the front and 1.5" drop in back.

Hmmm... I paid a couple of hundred more than exbauer. I may have gotten ripped off. Stripped the dealer tint, 70% windshield and moonroof, 40% every other window. I don't notice any brown, the clarity is very good. There is an issue right behind the rear view because of the little dots on the windshield.

They also threw in a clearbra for both headlights for free.

I got my Heatshield sunshade. That thing is a BEAST to roll up and store. Super thick. Not sure if I like it.

The front bumper is off the car and in pieces. The 2012+ bumper is a beyotch to take apart!

Time to get to work! Will post results later. I hope I'm done before its time to pick my daughter up from daycare.

Not difficult at all. You just need to take out the airbags, then pretty much it's just removing screws. Check out the thread on "JDM Prius steering wheel". There is a great DYI with ALOT of pictures.
