Just call me shorty in this thread (6'0) but obviously taller folks can fit a Prius, That was one of my only concerns before we bought in 2006. Original poster may want to also consider the new Camry Hybrid is getting good reviews.

I'm 6'3" and I find the Prius v to be a very comfortable vehicle. I have more than enough leg and head room in the v.

Pretty much all lower trim cars in all brands have mechanical adjustments including lever type seat height adjusters (those that have them). They work very effectively. Power seats are found in higher end trims or luxury cars.

Mechanical adjustments can be made more quickly and without the need to tax the electrical system.

Make sure that you sit in the car before you buy it. I tried very, very hard to love the Prius V. However, I found that, while the legroom was no problem, the steering wheel did not extend out far enough for me. If I moved the seat forward enough for arm comfort, my knees were up into the dash. Kind of a "arm to leg ratio" problem.

Many others found it to be comfortable. Sadly, it just wasn't the right fit for me.

Another 1/2 inch, or so, of steering wheel telescope and I would be driving one now (Toyota.... are you listening?). When I told my salesperson of the problem, she commented that others had told her the same thing.

Of course, YMMV. I hope it works for you, but do check it out well before buying!

6'4" here and find the "V" MUCH more comfy than our Honda Pilot. Good knee room to sprawl out a bit and better headroom (though the Pilot has a sunroof). The dead pedal position is perfect for trips (put 300 miles on her this weekend and was happy with the seat comfort, lumbar support and overall sitting angle in the seat)...

Found the regular Prius hatch to be comfy on test drives as well, but the floating console was a little too confining. Not in the way or uncomfortable mind you... just too close for some reason.

I'm 6'3" & 370 Ibs. I fit fine; just did a 1000 mile road trip with luggage, dogs & wife. Very comfortable plus 41 mpg

Forget it. I am 6'2" and recently bought a 2013 Prius 3. When I put the seat back far enough to get leg room I have to put my arms straight out to reach the top of the steering wheel and I have long arms. It kills my neck. Then there is no lumbar so I sit slumped over while the pad at the top of the seatback pushes me forward and the sides of the upper seatback dig into my shoulders. Adding a lumbar pad makes it dig into my shoulders more. The door arm rest is about an inch lower than the console arm rest. Since I have to grip the wheel at the bottom I need to rest my elbows somewhere and now one is lower than the other and soon that hurts too. And there is only one opening at the bottom of the wheel for me to grip and I can hardly get my hand to fit inside it, as it was made for people with small hands. Buy something erlse.

I would not forget it, I recommend trying a long trip in a rental before buying.

I am 6'2" with long legs and a history of seating problems on long trips in other cars. Since retiring, we have made a number of trips in our 2010 Prius between BC and Southern California without any significant problems. We do stop regularly and stretch our legs but we would this in any car.

    Son 6'6" 180lbs long legs and drives a hatchback. Other son 6'5" 300lbs long torso and drives v. I'm 6' 200 and drive a v.

By all means try before you buy. The cars don't have sixteen skillion electric adjustments...weight and cost.

I have 2 son-in- laws that are 6'5 and 6'6 and both have said many times that they are surprised how comfortable riding in my Prius is. They have even borrowed it to go on long trips, so I assume that it works for taller occupants.

6'1" here, it very comfortable once you fiddle with the seat enough. The height adjustment on the v seat also changes the forward/backward tilt which greatly affects the reach to the steering wheel. I'd prefer to have the wheel adjust outward an inch further, but once the seat is just right it's fine.
