yeah thats what i was thinking too. since its coming from japan it must be LEDs. too much money for me. im happy with stock lights with HIDS
i dont understand how peoples lights get so yellow. i have a car from 04 (toyota rav4) and the housings are still clean and clear! its been outside all its life in all types of weather. maybe i just got lucky.
The blacked out housing looks good. From the website, looks like halogen lights, not led. The light looks way to yellow to be led or hid. The strip looks the same color as the headlight output. So I don't know if it's a halogen bulb powering that strip or actual led(s).
I agree about the output looking the same... which is why I assumed LED. Looks like 4500k on the heads and 6k on the fogs. But I could be wrong.
They do... but you have to bake the lens to get the glue to loosen. Attach the strip, clean the lens of all adhesive and then reseal the lens... if you do it wrong you will get moisture in the lens.
Leave your car outside at home and at work under California sun and it'll yellow quickly. Living in Canada, a car has to be at least 15 to 20 years old before there's any hint of yellowing (at least where I am). On one trip to California, I saw 10 year old cars with serious yellowing and it caught me by surprised because I was not using to seeing such "young" cars with such aged headlight housings.
