I am a new Prius owner. I have 1433 miles logged on Fuelly with a 51 mpg average. I'd like to keep learning and improving. Any places to gather over coffee and get pointers?
I use to live up north in Tuba and spend a lot of time in Flag but not anymore so I can't help you with meet ups. That being said and having made many dreaded trips to the valley in summer, what is your method of getting such good mpg with what must be the A/C on full blast!? How do you find the cooling power under the 1teen recent temps? Have you had any experience driving up the long grades out of the valley in those temps? Notice anything in the performance of the Prius? and welcome aboard PC. (I get Lexus RX450h seat time when I'm aloud)
Fuel mileage was 47 mpg coming out of Phoenix for Flagstaff with A/C on. It took 400 miles to get the average back up over 50 mpg.
